A little bit about myself.

To start off, my name is Harry. I recently decided to start this blog because for the past few years I haven’t been working and I have been looking to do something with my vast amounts of free time. I was diagnosed with mild Autism right after leaving A-Levels and before that I did work a small amount, it was no easy task for me as social anxiety, paranoia and depression all have a way of making life difficult in unique and painful ways.

I try to have a positive outlook on life, however hard it may be at times. I took years off from working to better myself and understand myself more, learning that the idea of working in an office or shop scares me in ways other people would consider silly. However, I have recently grown fond of the idea of doing some work in games journalism, I have absolutely no idea where to start on that front.

So I guess you could say I am using blogging as a means to improve my ability to write and just get a lot of feelings off of my chest, however this blog will mostly be about video games, new and old. Video games are my passion, I have always been the Black Sheep of my family and I have come to realize I need to embrace that and seek out something to do with my life in what I love, not with what I have settled with.

I really do hope this blog goes somewhere as I have been stuck in the same old situation for the past 4 years, I live on my own now which was terrifying to do, I have a wonderful girlfriend and have recently bought a cat, Lilo, whom I have completely fallen in love with. This however does not answer the important question of where do I go from here.

For the love of god, I hope I stick to this blog.
